Dwende Keychain (Green)

Dwende is a little creature known to live in anthills, termite mounds, rocks, etc. Some know them as the nuno sa punso (old man on the mound). They are thought to be mischievous creatures, but can inflict harm on those who trespass on their homes. Be sure to say "Tabi tabi po!" as a sign of respect for these beings and their homes. Our crochet plush has large ears and nose and also has a long mustache/beard. He is wearing green overalls and a green hat. He is also holding a walking stick (that is made of a wire) and has a keychain so he can be clasped and go whereever you go!

The crochet dwendes are crocheted by our Filipino crochet artist, Vivienne, from South Cotabato. Due to the handmade nature of this item, slight variation may occur.

Due to the nature of the plush, these are not suitable for young children. The plushies are stuffed firm to compensate for possible compression and shifting of stuffing over time.
